Trying to edit my post in the videos section, but it won't save. I want a plain text link rather than a live one. I also want to correct the spelling in
the thread title.

Uncheck "convert urls" to make the links not clickable. The thread title should be editable just like any other text area.
*edit* I just looked at your post. You used the [url] tag for your link so unchecking "convert urls" won't help to make it plain text. You have to insert the link without the [url] tag AND uncheck "convert urls"
